Seagrass Technologies was founded in 2019 after David and Stuart successfully developed the Mangrove Mate — a practical, effective solution for mangrove restoration.
Our first trial began on the Mooloolah River in Queensland, and since then we’ve been involved in many restoration projects across Australia.
Both David and Stuart remain hands-on, working directly with clients to plan and deliver mangrove restoration projects that protect shorelines and restore vital ecosystems.
Based in Sydney, David doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty if it means helping restore mangroves.
He combines practical field experience with a commitment to finding effective, low-impact restoration solutions.
